Fishing - The Independence

The Independence is 112’ by 32’ foot wide. She holds 700 scoops of bait. I love taking this boat which goes on trips of up to 16 days. I have had many awesome adventures on The Independence throughout the Baja Peninsula, Guadalupe Island, Alejo’s Rocks & Magdelina Bay. She is owned by Mark Pisano & Paul Strasser who both have been captains for over 35 years. Captain Matt Kaullen & Brian Pifer are excellent fisherman and run a tight operation. The boat is spotless and extremely comfortable. The cuisine is supreme and as good as any top restaurant you will find. Chefs Ed Laconbe, Josh Evans & Rolf Rittman are amazing.
